The Dancer and The Artist.

The dancer and the artist often overlap in each other’s worlds, inspiring one another. Though they have their own tones and sense of purpose, they’re both performing with the universal language of movement, emotion, and presence.

I’m a Brooklyn-based artist focused on leading people toward self-reflection with movement and self-portraiture. I use a variety of different dance styles and visual media to communicate the intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics of the human experience. Specifically, I like to explore the relationship between fear, intimacy, and the self.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University, specifically studying performance art, psychology, and interpersonal relationships. I channel these themes in my teaching and creative work to further bring people home to their selves – shadow and ego alike.
